Through simple graphic elements, this film is about Chinese Taoism, the concepts of yin and yang, and the Five Elements. The script revolves around the theme of "Dao generates one, one generates two, two generates three, and three generates all things", showcasing the cycle and balance of the universe.
This video is a new attempt at GenAI images and audio. By adjusting keywords and selecting sound clips, and integrating hand-drawn and After Effects adjustments, we have created this animated work with the theme of Taoism. Starting from abstract and simple graphics, we inject the philosophy of "Dao generates one, one generates two, two generates three, and three generates all things" into the intense graphic changes, creating a grand dance of the universe. At the same time, the fusion and variation of black and white graphics give a sense of balance visually, and the red color added to the climax brings a strong visual shock. For the production of sound, we take traditional Taoist instruments as inspiration and achieve audio-visual unity via dominant sound mixing adjustments to create rhythm. Through a combination of visual and musical elements, the creation leads the audience into an artistic realm that transitions language and concrete forms, inspiring reflection on life, the universe, and the relationship between humans and nature.
Style:
This project utilized an artistic technique that involves the use of ink texture to create a range of visual effects and textures through different techniques. The aim was to create a picture that is visually rich and expressive. Additionally, the project prioritized the use of white space, which is an important element in Chinese traditional painting. The white space helped to enhance the ethereal and mysterious feel of the image, while also drawing attention to the form and important details of the object.
